Aw, that's a shame. The Julio-Claudian dynasty had such an awesome history, even though it had some of the bloodiest times. I figured you'd have fun with it, especially with Caligula, given his reputation.
Oh, of course I would. It's just certain stories I enjoy more than others. It's just with a lot of those Emperors, you don't have a cast of characters like you do with the Fall of the Republic. It's like doing a story about Andrew Jackson vs. the American Revolution. Sure, Jackson was an interesting guy, but the American Revolution had a huge and varied cast of characters battling it out. More fun that way, for me .
Gaia Julia Caesar the Conqueror, the person who muttered the immortal words: "Veni Veni Veci," as she conquered Gaul and "The Die is Cast" as she crossed the Rubicon... not bad, I would love to see this in a comic
I just realized that her name would have been pronounced Jew-le-A instead Jew-lea... I looked up Roman/Latin pronounciaion and realised I was saying it wrong... I love learning Latin... its like learning three languages at once, by CHEATING!!!
Its bound to happen. The blades of Gladius Hispaniensis, mass produced variants aside, were designed to be the length of the owners forearm and hand combined. Remember that and you'll get it perfect every time.
